The price of Chinese primary nickel closed November 15th 2012 by halting its two day flat run with a 1% shift on MetalMiner's stainless price index.
On the LME, the 3 month price of nickel rose 0.7% to USD 16,100 per tonne. The LME spot price of nickel rose 0.5% to USD 15,980 per tonne. The Indian nickel cash price inched up 0.2%.
Chinese 304 and 316 stainless steel coil and scrap all stayed flat.
For the fifth consecutive day, the price of Chinese ferrochrome held flat and Chinese ferro moly saw little movement.
