Reuters cited Mr Ashraf al-Araby Planning Minister as saying that Egypt's budget deficit in the year to end June 2013 is expected to widen to EGP 200 billion from a EGP 166.7 billion deficit in 2011-12.
Egypt's budget, released in July, had forecast a 2012-13 deficit of EGP 135 billion.
