Bloomberg reported that Kazakhstan's industrial production increased 0.4% in January through November from a year earlier led by growth in copper output.
The state statistics agency said that copper production advanced 7.9% to 332,600 tonnes in the period. Ferroalloys grew 2.9% in the first 11 months to 1.6 million tonnes.
The agency said that rolled steel output slumped 18% to 2.3 million tonnes in the period.
Oil and gas condensate output fell 1.4% to 72.3 million tonnes in the January to November while natural gas rose 1.7% to 36.7 billion cubic meters.
