It’s reported that Chinese steelmaker Baosteel’s precision steel pipe mill was commissioned on May 13rd. The mill was built by a subsidiary of China Mettalurgical Group Co., a state owned company. It’s known that the construction at the mill began in March 2012. It is situated on a land covering 5.2 hectares, and also includes a waste water treatment facility. Meanwhile, this new mill is capable of producing 56,000 tons of cold rolled and cold drawn steel pipe per year.
