According to the revised data issued by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on December 19, the country’s final gross domestic product (GDP) figure for 2013 has been recorded at RMB 58.8019 trillion ($9.58 trillion), indicating a 3.4 percent rise compared to the preliminary value. After the revision, China’s primary industrial added value for the given year amounts to RMB 5.5322 trillion ($0.9 trillion), accounting for 9.4 percent of the total GDP. Meanwhile, the added values of the secondary and tertiary industries amount to RMB 25.6810 trillion ($4.18 trillion) and RMB 27.5887 trillion ($4.49 trillion), accounting for 43.7 percent and 46.9 percent of the total GDP, respectively.
