It’s reported that the Chinese steelmaker Baosteel’s crude stainless steel output was at around 100,000 tons in this March, lower than the average monthly output of 115,000~120,000 tons in 2012, due to weak demand.
The official of Baosteel said that orders had not met expectations after the company increased its April domestic prices.
Meanwhile, the company will observe the demand moves for the rest of the month to see whether it has to cut production or not.
