French Automobile Manufacturers Association (CCFA) has announced in February this year, the French passenger car sales were 143,866 vehicles, compared to February last year of 163,010 vehicles, down 12.1 percent year on year; two months ago, the French passenger car sales twere 268,164 vehicles, declined 13.5% compared to the same period last year of 310,056 vehicles.
In February, France's largest-selling car was Peugeot Citroen, Peugeot fell 9.1% to 22,605 vehicles from 24,863 vehicles year on year; Citroen brand fell 22.2% to 18,428 vehicles from 23,698 vehicles compared with the last year.
France's highest-selling brand in February was Renault, declined 19.5% to 26,920 vehicles from 33,430 vehicles year on year. In addition, the Volkswagen brand declined 4.4% to 12,698 vehicles from 13,282 vehicles year on year; Ford brand fell 33.4% to 6,197 vehicles from 9,309 vehicles compared with the last year.
