The Sales in First Three Quarters of Subaru Increased 33% Year on Year

The net sales of Subaru in the first three year was 13,707 million yen (about 14.67 billion dollars), an increase of 33.2% compared with the same period of the previous year.

During the period from 2012 April to December, Subaru car sales in overseas markets totaled 415,000, increased 30.5% year on year, while sales fell 2% to 112,000 in the Japanese domestic market compared with the previous year, in this fiscal year, the company’s global sales in first three quarters totaled 527,000, a year-on-year growth of 21.9%.

Since Subaru raised the expectations of annual car sales in fiscal year in 2013, coupled with the continuous depreciation of the yen in recent, Subaru expected its annual net sales this year would reach 18,900 one hundred million yen (about 20.22 billion dollars), which would recording a new levels, the operating profit and net profit were expected to reach 107 billion yen (1.145 billion dollars) and 76 billion yen (813 million dollars).
