Turkey plans to build gas holders for 7 billion cubic meters to 8 billion cubic meters.
Mr Taner Yildiz Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources invited Russian companies for the project. He said that up to 15% of gas consumed by the country may be held in reservoirs.
Turkey has only one gas holder belonging to TPAO in Silivri for 2.6 billion cubic meters. China Tianchen Engineering Corporation will build a gas holder for 1 billion cubic meters at Lake Tuz.
