China Knowledge reported that China saw its clean energy output increase 26% YoY to 810.2 terawatt hours in the first ten months of this year.
According to statistic released by the State Electricity Regulatory Commission, the figure accounted for 20.4% of the country's total electricity output during the ten-month period.
From January to October, China generated 648.9 TWhs from hydroelectric power, up 27.1% from a year earlier, while its nuclear power and wind power output for the period rose 12.4% and 32.7% YoY to 81.2 TWhs and 8 TWhs, respectively.
As of the end of last month, the country added 10.35 million kilowatt of installed hydroelectric power capacity and 7.17 million kW of installed wind power capacity.
