The bi monthly SteelBenchmarker TM Chinese HRB ex work soared 5.0% to USD 523 per tonne, for the fourth consecutive time. The World export HRB price increased 1.5% to USD 542 per tonne, FOB the port of export, for the second consecutive time. The Western European HRB price dropped 3.4% to USD 591 per tonne (on a Euro basis, it fell 0.2%), ex-works, for the third consecutive time. The United States HRB spot price rose 4.3% to USD 680 per metric tonne, FOB the mill, after falling four consecutive times.
