Country's Output of Construction Steel Products in This Jan Falls by 9% From a Month Ago

The Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) said that the country’s output of construction steel products totaled 360,000 tons in this January, falling by 9% from a month ago while rising by 26% year on year.

In January, Vietnam’s sales volumes of steel products totaled 360,000 tons, rising by 2.2% month on month and increasing by 54% year on year.

Meanwhile, the country’s stocks of steel products totaled 330,000 tons at the end of January, falling by 1.1% from a month earlier and decreasing by 16.6% year on year.

It’s forecasted that Vietnam’s output of steel products would be at 9.33 million tons this year, up by 2% year on year.
