Turkey Plans to Build Gas Holders for 7 Billion to 8 Billion Cubic Meters

Turkey plans to build gas holders for 7 billion to 8 billion cubic meters. Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz invited Russian companies for the project.

The minister noted that up to 15% of gas consumed by the country may be held in reservoirs. Turkey has only one gas holder belonging to TPAO in Silivri for 2.6 billion cubic meters. China Tianchen Engineering Corporation will build a gas holder for 1 billion cubic meters at Lake Tuz.
