INTERFAX CHINA reported that Guanghui Energy Co Ltd one of the leading non state owned energy companies in China, announced on Wednesday that its liquefied natural gas plant in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region has entered production.
The liquefaction plant, located in Kumul Prefecture's Hami City, is capable of processing 500 million cubic meters (MMcm) of coal gas every year. It forms part of a CNY 15 billion (USD 2.38 billion) project that includes coal mining and processing coal into methanol, dimethyl ether and LNG.
