According to data released by Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC), Brazil exported 85,305 tons of steel flat products in March, slumping by 47.7% month on month but rising by 8.3% year on year.
Among them, the exports of hot rolled coils totaled 64,037 tons, slumping by 57%; those of cold rolled coils were at 13,458 tons, falling by 11.1% and those of steel plates were at 7,807 tons, rising by 34.3%, all compared to the figures in a month ago.
