Japan’s Kobe Steel launched its financial result for the fiscal year 2012/13 ended on March 31st.
The company posted a net loss of ¥27 billion for the fiscal year 2012/13, in comparison of a net loss of ¥14.24 billion in a year ago.
In the given period of time, Kobe Steel realized consolidated net sales revenues of ¥1.68 trillion, falling by 9.6% year on year, caused by decreased sales of steel products and lower steel prices.
In the fiscal year, the company’s sales of iron and steel segment decreased by 13.04% to ¥742.84 billion.
