Taiwanese Steel Pipe Makers Decide to Lower List Prices for May

It’s reported that the Taiwanese steel pipe makers announced to cut list prices by NT$600/ton averagely for May in order to Chung Hung Steel’s price cut on raw materials of steel pipe manufacturing.

It’s known that Chung Hung Steel cut its list prices for hot rolled (HR), cold rolled (CR) and galvanized steel products by NT$600/ton. Dealers said that the steel pipe market may remain weak in the short term as buyers may cut prices to gain orders due to poor demand.
