Quintain Steel, one of the major wire rod producers in Taiwan, announced to leave its list prices for all its wire rod products unchanged for May on April 22nd.
Affected by China Steel Corp. (CSC)’s unchanged price policy, Quintain Steel also decided to keep prices unchanged for May. Also, the company has remained its list prices unchanged for consecutive two months.
After the adjustment, the company’s list prices for blast furnace Al-killed wire rods are at NT$25,000/ton; those for rimmed wire rods are at NT$23,000/ton; those for blast furnace killed wire rods are at NT$22,000/ton; and those for electric furnace Al-killed wire rods are at NT$23,000/ton.
Meanwhile, market participants predicted that Yieh Phui, another major wire rod producer in Taiwan would leave its list prices for wire rod products unchanged.
