Reportedly, Indiana Pickling and Processing, a joint venture with Bethlehem Steel and Signode Corporation in Portage, Indiana, has invested approximately US$7 million in northern Indiana in order to increase its pickling output. Meanwhile, Indiana Pickling and Processing (IPPC) will be able to pickle coil up to 0.75-inches thick for a unique capability in the market requirement, according to a company said. In the meantime, the company has a warehouse capable of storing up to 30,000 short tons of product and new pre-cleaning and leveling hardware respectively.
