On March 2, the coke oven No. 1 of Guizhou Province-based Chinese coking enterprise Qiangui Tianneng Coking Co., built by Hubei-based China First Metallurgical Group, was successfully ignited after three months of work on construction and installation, as reported by China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC) on March 5.
The coke oven No. 1, which is a key part of Qiangui Tianneng’s expansion project, has a designed annual coke production output of 1.3 million mt. It is a JNDK55-07 tamping coke oven with coking chambers of 15.980 m in length and 5.55 m in height.
