Saraya Abdali Real Estate Investment Company, a subsidiary of Saraya Holdings has commissioned the Amman based Dubai Construction Company, a subsidiary of Dubai Contracting Company to build 78,000 square meters mixed use tower in Abdali, Amman's new down town that will help position the Jordanian capital as a regional business and tourism hub.
As part of the USD 200 million project, the contractor will build W Amman, a 36 storey tower comprising 280 rooms and 42 exclusive serviced residences. The tower tops an 8 level podium accommodating the commercial modules and the hotel's amenities.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc, one of the leading hotel and leisure companies in the world will launch its contemporary, design led W brand in Jordan with the opening of W Amman. W Hotels currently has a portfolio of 43 hotels globally with plans to expand across primary cities in the Middle East such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat.
