Auto sales are expected to increase by 8% to 1,465,100 vehicles in the US during March 2013, according to the joint report published by the J D Power and Associates and LMC Automotive.
The annual sale is anticipated to reach 15.3 million vehicles accounting to the continuous fifth month to surpass the 15 million mark, the report revealed.
LMC senior vice president Jeff Schuster said they expect the economic environment to improve throughout 2013, as the likelihood of a dark cloud slowing the recovery pace diminishes.
"Consumers do not appear phased by headwinds from Washington, as growth in auto sales are outperforming earlier expectations," Schuster added.
The March sales report of the US is expected to be revealed on 02 April 2013.
In February, the auto sales in the US went up by 3.7% to 1.2 million units.
