It’s reported that the Brazilian steelmakers including Gerdau, ArcelorMittal Brasil and Votorantim Siderurgia have all announced to raise rebar prices by 6% for April.
It’s known that the ex-factory prices of rebar increased to BRL2, 086/ton from the previous BRL1, 968/ton. Also, this is the Brazilian steelmakers’ first price rise over the past 6 months.
