At present, there are about 8000 global companies earn more than $1 billion a year, its global income summation is about $57 trillion, equivalent to 90% of global GDP. Half large multinational companies headquartered in the United States, Canada and Western Europe, but these regions have only 11% of the world's population. And 23% of the world population is in South Asia, with only 2% of the large global companies.
The McKinsey institute forecast, there will be 7000 emerging enterprises with revenues of $1 billion by 2025, including 7/10 will be headquartered in developing countries. In the global power balance, emerging markets will get more advantage from decision-making, capital, standard and innovation.
