In the January-May period this year, Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises' revenues from exports of ferrous metals decreased by 2.4 percent year on year to $6.007 billion.
In May, Ukraine's ferrous metal export revenues reached $1.379 billion.
In the January-May period, Ukraine imported $542.02 million worth of ferrous metals, down 39 percent year on year, including $106.97 million in May alone.
