China will strive to push its bilateral trade with the ASEAN up to USD 1 trillion by 2020, with new bilateral investment of USD 150 billion in the next eight years.
The Sino-ASEAN bilateral trade value has grown at 21.6% in the past three years, with China being the biggest trading partner of the ASEAN since 2009. The ASEAN saw its trade value with China hit USD 318.6 billion by the end of 2012, with China's direct investment in the ASEAN surging more than eight times.
