China’s One Belt, One Road initiative is a comprehensive framework for organising multinational economic development and trade, which has inspired the creation of China Trade Week (CTW) and it is coming to Kenya.
For the first time, a comprehensive China-focused trade event will be hosted in Kenya, with the support of the Kenya Chamber of Commerce.
Running July 1-3 2015 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi, China Trade Week - Africa 2015 will bring African business people face-to-face with Chinese companies, creating a unique opportunity to meet, network and develop the foundations of trading and business relationships.
China Trade Week - Africa 2015 will feature Chinese businesses from sectors such as construction materials, PMV, automotive parts and accessories, print, packaging and plastics, consumer products and food and beverage.
With full government and industry support, the organisers of China Trade Week - Africa 2015 spent weeks on the road in China, meeting companies from major provinces such as Jiangsu, Sichuan, GuangDong, Zhejiang, Shenzheng, Beijing and Shanghai, ensuring that the very best of Chinese manufacturing and industry will be represented at the event.
