Japan's Exports of Cold Rolled (CR) Steel Plates and Coils Fall by 13%

According to data, Japan’s exports of cold rolled (CR) steel plates and coils totaled 266,560 tons in this September, falling by 13% from a month ago and decreasing by 11.7% year on year.

In the first nine months of this year, Japan exported 2.46 million tons of CR steel plates and coils, decreasing by 16.9% in comparison of that in the same period of a year ago.

In the given period of time, China was the largest importer of the Japanese CR steel plates and coils with 817,979 tons, falling by 16%; Thailand was the second largest one with 311,853 tons, decreasing by 14.4%, both compared to that in the same period of 2011.
