Airbus: There Will Be 10,000 More Aircrafts in the Next 20 Years in Asia-Pacific Region

Airbus: Asia-Pacific will add nearly 10,000 aircraft in the next 20 years

On the evening of Feb.25th, in Singapore, the aircraft manufacturer Airbus Corporation (Airbus) released Asia-Pacific aviation market forecast over the next 20 years. Airbus predicted that in the Asia-Pacific region in the next 20 years, there will be a total of 9,870 passenger and cargo aircrafts, with a total value of $ 1.6 trillion. Number of new aircrafts will account for 35% of total global new, which exceeds Europe and North America.

Airbus predicted that in the next 20 years, passenger flights aircrafts operated by airline companies will grow from 4,300 to 10,440 in the Asia-Pacific region, while the dedicated cargo aircrafts will increase from the current 316 to 887.
