It's reported that the Chinese steelmaker Ansteel launched its price policy for May. The company decided to cut its list prices for ordinary hot rolled carbon steel products and cold rolled coils/plates by RMB150/ton and RMB100/ton respectively for May. After the adjustment, the company's ex-factory prices for Q235 ordinary hot rolled carbon steel coils with thickness of 5.5mm are at RMB3,430/ton and those for SPHC low-carbon steel coils with thickness of 3.1mm are at RMB3,520/ton. Meanwhile, its ex-factory prices for SPCC cold rolled steel coils with thickness of 1.0mm are at RMB4,350/ton. The above prices do not include 17% VAT.
