Cadillac is planning to launch the 2016 variant of the ATS-V rear-drive compact sedan at the upcoming 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, starting November 18th.
The new ATS-V will reportedly feature twin-turbo 3.6 liter V6 engine which is capable of generating 430 horsepower, eight speed automatic transmissions and an all wheel drive.
The 2014 CTS model of the car also featured 3.6 liter V6 engine which was able to produce 420 horsepower and 430 pounds of torque.
The new car is reportedly being designed to compete with BMW M3 and Audi RS4 that are presently leading the premium sport sedan segment.
Reportedly the ATS and CTS models did not live up the company's expectations in terms of sales.
