Between season tickets, team shirts, and TV subscriptions, following sport is an expensive hobby.
Sky has launched a brand new sports channel that won’t cost customers extra.
It’s called Sky Sports Mix, and it’s included for all Sky TV customers in the UK and Ireland free of charge.
This means customers will be able to watch live sport, including football, golf, and international cricket, all as part of their basic subscription packages.
Some of the live football will include competitions from Spain’s La Liga, MLS, the Fifa World Cup 2018 qualifiers, and select Premier League and Football League matches.

Sky Sports Mix will also serve up live women’s sport, including women’s golf, cricket, and netball.
“With Sky Sports Mix, we are giving millions more people access to great moments from some of the world’s biggest sporting events at no extra cost,” says Barney Francis, Sky Sports Managing Director.
Francis continues: “It is a fantastic way for all Sky customers to be able to enjoy some of the great content that has made Sky Sports the first choice for sport.”
“Sky Sports Mix will bring sport to more people and provide many different ways of enjoying our coverage, from high profile live events and fascinating documentaries to clips of incredible moments,” adds Francis. “Our aim is to offer sport in a way that can engage, encourage and excite everyone even further.”
Note that the existing seven Sky Sports channels won’t be going away; you’ll still be able to subscribe for a wide range of sports content.
