Computex Taipei 2012 is scheduled for June 5-9 with 1,800 exhibitors and 5,400 booths,and is expected to attract 36,000 buyers and 10,000 professionals from overseas.The show is estimated to reach a total trade of US$28 billion,according to the organizers of the exhibition.
However,due to the uncertainties in Europe's economy,some IT players are concerned that the number of buyers from Europe may drop.
For Computex 2012,ultrabooks,smart handheld devices,e-book readers,and cloud technologies and services are expected to be the spotlights with Acer,Asustek Computer,Delta Electronics,Foxconn Electronics(Hon Hai Precision Industry)Micro-Star International(MSI)and Gigabyte Technology to all participate.
Meanwhile,Intel,Microsoft,AMD and Nvidia are also expected to demo their latest technologies and products as well as revealing their future lineups.
