IC packaging material and tool distributor Niching Industrial looks to ramp up its shipments of EMC-based (epoxy molding compound) LED leadframes and FC CSP substrates to drive revenue growth in 2015.
Niching's LED products lines are expected to post an annual growth rate of 150% in 2014 due to strong demand as well as a low base recorded a year earlier, said company president Chang Hong-gi.
More of Niching's LED clients are migrating to EMC-based leadframes, which will help keep Niching's sales momentum in 2015, Chang said.
Niching has also landed more orders for FC CSP substrate orders from IC backend service companies with shipments to be ramping up gradually in 2015.
