Argentina's New Car Sales Increased by 17% in May

According to the ACARA, Argentina's new car sales in 89644 vehicles in May-2013, and 76389 vehicles in May-2012, Up 17% from a year earlier.

The association also said that between January and May 2013 new car sales in Argentina accumulated up to 422225 vehicles, the same period in 2012 sales of 390468 vehicles, up 8% from a year earlier. New-car sales in April-2013 is 81788 cars, rose 10% in May. Based on the above data, the association forecasts the optimistic prospect in auto industry. New-car sales achieve year-on-year growth of 8% to 9%, the average monthly sales will reach 90000 vehicles.

The association believes that the rapid growth of new car sales is mainly due to the country's gross domestic product (GDP) growth, with the growing of economy, the country's car industry will continue to maintain growth levels.
