Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fibre put the polyester chip project with annual production capacity of 200,000 tons a year into successful use on May 11, marking a new step on building the major business polyester and speeding up product upgrading.
The company's polyester chips accounted for more than 30% of the domestic polyester film market. This will help the company to lift annual production capacity of polyesters to 2.2 million tons and further increase the production capacity of polyester chips for films and industrial wires and is helpful to expand the company's competitiveness and market position.
