Various display and computer vendors will be displaying products such as smart TVs and projectors at this year's Taipei Computer Applications Show(TICA)in hope to bump up the promotion and sales of the products in the second half of this year,said industry sources.
Companies such as Samsung Electronics,Viewsonic,BenQ and Asus will be in attendance,with Samsung sporting its latest smart TVs,notebooks,cameras and smartphones.Sources say Samsung's new ES8000 smart TV will be a focal point of the company due to its advanced voice and movement-recognition features and new 46-and 65-inch sizes.Samsung's ES7500 smart TV will also be available for viewing along with its new Galaxy smartphone,added sources.
However,sources have yet to indicate whether Samsung's new OLED TV will be on display.
Viewsonic meanwhile will be displaying its new 22-and 27-inch LCD displays along with its 1080p Full HD projectors in the hope of gaining more popularity in the commercial sector.
Additionally,BenQ will be promoting its new high-end smart LED TVs while Asus will mainly displaying its new notebook products.
TICA will run from August 2-6 and will be located at Hall 1 at the Taipei World Trade Center(TWTC).
