Japan's Exports of Iron and Steel Products in February,Increasing by 12.25% M-O-M

Japan's exports of iron and steel products totaled 4 million tons in February, increasing by 12.25% from a month ago and rising by 4.8% year on year, according to data released by the Ministry of Finance. Meanwhile, the country's export revenues generated by iron and steel products amounted to ¥348 billion in February, remaining stable year on year. In February, the US was the largest importer of the Japanese iron and steel products with 192,000 tons, falling by 20.7%; the EU was the second largest one with 25,000 tons, decreasing by 16.9% and China was the third largest one with 526,000 tons, down by 0.5%, all compared of those in the same month of a year ago.
