Air purifiers are selling well in China amid continuing smoggy weather, National Business Daily reported. Nearly 200 air purifiers were sold over 2 days, said a salesperson in Chengdu. Some brands are out of stock at some malls. Air purifiers may become a must-have for families, like TV sets, in the future, with an estimated RMB150b in market volume, if the smoggy ewather continues across China long-term, industry insiders say.
