According to the provisional data released by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, in November this year the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 75.7% falling 1.1 percentage points compared to the previous month and down 3.5 percentage points compared to November 2011.
Meanwhile, in November of the current year the capacity utilization rate in the manufacture of metal products except machinery and equipment fell by 1.1 percentage points YoY to 71.2% down slightly from 71.9% recorded in October.
The capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand was at 74% in November this year indicating a slight decrease of 0.9 percentage points compared to October and down from 76.9% in November 2011.
