Apple is facing up to more problems with its recent iOS 9.3 release after users found the update crashed multiple apps when tapping and long-pressing web links.
iPhone and iPad owners have taken to social media and Apple Support forums in droves to complain over the bug, which is affecting the likes of Safari, Mail, Messages and many more.
The incidence, which also appears to be troubling third-party apps, sees them become unresponsive when tapping a link to navigate to the webpage.
It is also occurring when users hold down a link to reveal more options like Copy, Share or Open In A New Tab.
Right now, it appears as if the use is affecting all manner of iOS devices, from the iPhone 5, all the way up to the iPad Air 2.
Apple is yet to comment on the issue, which is by no means universal
Some users are claiming a temporary workaround is to browser to Settings > Safari > Advanced and turning off the JavaScript settings.
The bug comes as an inopportune time for Apple, just a few days after reissuing iOS 9.3 for iPad 2 owners who were unable to activate their tablet after downloading the update.
A separate issue affecting iPhone owners required users to enter the Apple ID and password used when the phone was first set up.
