The design is from South Korean designer Jeonghwan Park and Taehoon Jung. They use piezoelectric effect to set the piezoelectric vibration energy collector device and transducer within the glass cup. It can collect vibration energy and translated into electric energy for heating or cooling the inside water of the cup when you shake cup. So, no matter you are like to drink hot tea with milk or ice drink, all can be done with one step: shaking!
