After two months of decline, China toy exports began to rise in March, with total exports of US$1.04 billion, up 7.77% month over month.
Among the toys exported, traditional toys (include dolls, educational toys, puzzles, electric trains and toy musical instruments etc.) reached US$640.36 million, up 19.05% over last month, accounting for 61.81% of China's total toys export this month; video games(not coin or disc-operated), US$ 195.54 million, down 21.43% MoM, accounting for 18.87%; baby strollers & bicycles exceeded US$ 198.85 million, up 31.67% MoM, accounting for 19.19%; and festive articles totaled US$ 62.28 million, up 68.51% MoM, accounting for 6.01%.
Among all the export destinations in this month, U.S. and Japan were the top two, with US$ 277.81 and 103.64 million, followed by Hong Kong, UK and Germany.
