Smart Phones Took 42% of The Chinese Market in The First Quarter of 2013

Latest report from world leading consumer panel research service provider Kantar Worldpanel said that smart phones took 42% of the Chinese market in the first quarter of 2013, climbing 1.4 percentage points quarter on quarter.

Kantar Worldpanel found out that Android system took 51,4% of the whole smart phone market in China in the period, inching up 2.8% quarter on quarter, being the first time to take more than half of the market.

Kantar Worldpanel pointed out that Galaxy S4 recently launched by Samsung has been performing well in the market. As the Android mobile phone to record the fastest sales growth in the first month of promotion, the mini version of Galaxy S4 will help Samsung further expand in high-end market and challenge Apple in China once being launched.
