Reportedly, the world's largest aluminum producer, Rusal Company plans to cut its aluminum output in 2014. It's learned that Rusal will cut its output by 647,504 tons in 2014. In March, 2013, Rusal has planned to cut output by 300,000 tons and its aluminum output dropped to 357,000 tons in August due to weak demand. Meanwhile, the industry has been forced to focus on cost control and margin improvement due to decreasing prices and high inventories.
