According to the Brazilian Steel Institute (IABr), Brazil's steel product sales volumes will rebound and the surplus production will be reduced in 2013.
IABr expected the domestic sales volumes of rolled steel products to rise to 23.40 million tons next year, up by 7.8% from the previous forecast of 21.70 million tons.
Meanwhile, Brazil's apparent consumption of steel products would hit 26.40 million tons in 2013 although the country's imports would decline to 1 million tons.
