Chinese steel giant Hebei Steel announced to raise the prices for steel flat products by RMB50~RMB170/ton averagely for December.
The firm decided to increase the prices for medium heavy plates and cd rolled steel plates/coils by RMB100/ton respectively.
Also, it determined to raise the prices of hot rolled steel plates/coils by RMB170/ton and to increase the prices for galvanized steel sheets by RMB50/ton for December.
After the price announcement, its prices for Q235 medium heavy plates with thickness of 14mm~20mm are at RMB3,670/ton; that for Q235 hot rolled steel plates/coils is with thickness of 5.5mm is at RMB3,850/ton and that for SPCC cold rolled steel plates/coils with thickness of 1.0mm is at RMB4,500/ton.
The above prices include taxes and will become effective from December 1st, 2012.
