Global Stainless Steel Production Growth of 2.9%

The British experts from the international metal analysis agencies point out that, global stainless steel production rose 2.9% in 2013, the output will reach 36.4 million tons.

The expert points out, although stainless steel production are still below the level before the crisis in the European Union, the United States and east Asian countries, however, China's stainless steel output is about two times the growth.

According to the OTTO's data (Finland's iron & steel enterprise), global demand for stainless steel rose 3.8% in the second quarter of 2013, and under this situation, Europe, Middle East and Africa country of stainless steel demand is reduced by 1.9%.

At the same time, according to data from German Damstahl service center, the European stainless steel output fell by 3% in the first quarter of 2013. The EU stainless steel output is 2 million tons between Jar. And Mar. in 2013, compared with the output of the fourth quarter of 2012, growth up to 20%.
