Although US hot rolled coil prices hike gradually, the J55 ERW Oil Country Tubular Goods(OCTG) price keeps stable. South Korea, Vietnam and Taiwan offer price to U.S. around US$970~1003/ton (DDP, truck price, U.S port) as flat as same prices from six weeks ago.
According to the data released by Steel Import Monitor Analysis, South Korea is still the largest supplier of OCTG in U.S.
Therefore, Korea’s supply is four times than that of Vietnam to 22,780 tons. Meanwhile, Taiwan’s supply is the lowest, only 1,095 tons. U.S. domestic market keeps stable, offering price around US$1389~1433/ton.
