The government's Pensions Ombudsman has signed a deal for a case management system via the G-Cloud.
The cloud case-management system will deliver a central reference point for individual complaints to the government-appointed regulator.
The multi-tenanted case management product will be supplied by IT infrastructure company SCC,which has partnered with software company IIZUKA under the deal.
The Pensions Ombudsman will co-ordinate internal activities and provide service users with an information portal to track the progress of cases. The system is due to go live in January.
Pensions Ombudsman Tony King said:"We are delighted to be working with IIZUKA and SCC,in whom we have placed great trust in a project of central importance to our business."
SCC will provide the infrastructure for the Pensions Ombudsman's cloud case-management system.
SCC recently became the first supplier of the government's G-Cloud framework to win accreditation to provide services to handle restricted information.
SCC gained accreditation for its multi-tenanted infrastructure-as-a-service(IaaS)platforms at security impact levels two and three(IL2/3).These specifications cover data considered sensitive to the working of government.
